Upon hire:

Direct Deposit

All employees are encouraged to have their payroll check directly deposited into any bank or savings and loan in which you might have an account.

Employee Assistance Program - Jorgensen Brooks

GISA will pay total coverage for all full-time employees and their family in an Employee Assistance Program offered by Jorgensen Brooks Group Inc.

Retirement – 403b

Employees may participate in the 403b plan immediately with no waiting period. After completing one year of employment, GISA matches .50 on the $1.00 up to 5% of your payroll earnings. There is a 3-year vesting schedule.

After completion of 90 day introductory period:

Vacation

Full-time, regular employees are entitled to vacation time as follows:

  • 0-4 years of service 80 hours
  • 5-9 years of service 96 hours
  • 10+ years of service 120 hours

Holidays/Sick

Goodwill provides 6 paid holidays, 3 floating holidays, and 6 sick days annually to all full-time employees.


Effective the 1st day of the month following completion of the 90 day introductory period:

Medical Insurance- Blue Cross Blue Shield

GISA offers (3) three medical insurance plans through Blue Cross Blue Shield for all full-time employees to choose from.


Dental Insurance- TDA

GISA offers (2) two dental insurance plans through TDA (Total Dental Administrators) for all full-time employees to choose from.


Vision Discounts – EyeMed

Vision coverage is included in both the health and dental insurance. The health insurance provides coverage for routine vision exams (copay applies), whereas the Total Dental Administrators (TDA) dental insurance provides a vision discount plan. The TDA Vision Discount plan is a managed vision care program offered through EyeMed Vision Care. The plan provides discounts on vision care services (exams), frames, lenses, lens options, contact lens materials, and laser vision correction through EyeMed's contracted providers.


Life Insurance- Standard Insurance

GISA will pay the premium on an $11,000 life insurance policy for full-time employees. Supplemental life insurance above the $11,000 is available to all qualified full-time employees who pay for this additional coverage.


After (1) one year of employment:

Tuition Reimbursement

GISA promotes the educational efforts of its employees. Employees are encouraged to continue the education process when feasible. Undergraduate and/or graduate tuition, books and materials at an accredited institution may be reimbursed up to 50% for regular full-time employees who have been continuously employed with GISA for at least one year. Tuition, books and materials may also be reimbursed up to 50% for any regular full-time employee who has been continuously employed with GISA for at least one year who is acquiring a General Education Diploma (GED) or Associates Degree. For more information regarding stipulations of education reimbursement, contact the Human Resources Department.


Income Protection Account

After one year of continuous employment and each anniversary date thereafter, GISA will contribute 3 days (24 hours) to each full time employee's Income Protection Account.


Birthdays

After completing one year of employment, employees are entitled to receive their birthday off with pay. This paid time off may be taken on the actual birthday or within 30 days after that actual date.
